What songs from a much criticized/maligned band do you think are good?

Here are two off the top of my head...

"Every Rose Has Its Thorn"- Poison

Watching their old music videos, it may be easy to laugh at these guys... but this is a well crafted song.

"Daydream Believer"- The Monkees

You have to admit, the chorus has a great hook.

What other songs from critically trashed bands do you think are good?

Peace,

1. Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive"
Goddamn, I hate to say it, but I like that song, and ALSO, that telentless no-good useless fuck managed to construct one of the finest guitar solos of all time, in terms of doing a solo that fits perfectly with the tone of the song.

It's not technically interesting or brilliant by any stretch of the imagination, but it manages to feel perfectly and exactly what that song required.

3. I don't know if she's marginalized
But I absolutely love "Believe" by Cher, so much so that I recorded a version w/ just me on acoustic guitar. It's got hooks out the wazoo, and she's never sounded better.

And The Monkees are jake with me; I'll box w/ anybody who says otherwise..

5. Skid Row - I Remember You
Woke up to the sound of pouring rain
The wind would whisper and I'd think of you
And all the tears you cried, that called my name
But when you needed me I came through
And when you needed me I came through

Remember yesterday, walking hand in hand?
Love letters in the sand - I remember you
Through the sleepless nights, to every endless day
I wanna hear you say I remember you

I paint a picture of the days gone by
When love went blind but you would make me see
I'd stare a lifetime into your eyes
So that I knew that you were there for me
Time after time you were there for me

Remember yesterday, walking hand in hand?
Love letters in the sand - I remember you
Through the sleepless nights, to every endless day
I wanna hear you say I remember you

We've had our share of hard times
But that's the price we paid
And through it all we kept the promise that we made
I swear you'll never be lonely

Remember yesterday, walking hand in hand?
Love letters in the sand - I remember you
Through the sleepless nights, to every endless day
I wanna hear you say I remember you
Remember you
Remember you
Remember you
Remember you
Remember you
Remember you
