So seriously - let's divide up the country like this

Western United State
United States of the Great Lakes
Northeastern United States
United Red States

We have a job/house swapping program where progressives could swap a home of equal value with a red stater.

The WUS, USGL and NEUS would have a free trade agreement which would also include Canada. All other free trade packs belong to URS.

I'm tired of idiots using their religion to rule me. Let them have their own country

3. Works for me. I wouldn't even have to move.
But I could wave cheerfully as a bunch of Thumpers pulled up stakes and drove off for the Red States. :hi:

4. If so
I get dibs on CT. Love the fact that the mountains are so close to the ocean. In AR you just get the mountains-at least until the earth changes occur. :)

10. I love my red state (it's my home, dagnabbit) despite its redness as well
However, we do have a distinctive "blue belt" running from Columbia down through the low country.

Back in the '80s when the movie "Moscow on the Hudson" came out, I overheard a repuke who lost a local election for the state legislature whining about how he lost because of the "Moscow on the Congaree" section within the district he was trying to win.

BTW, the Congaree is the river upon which Columbia is located.

6. That won't satisfy them.
Even if you gave the red states away to them, they'd immediately start trying to get the blue states back under their control.

7. Sorry, been tried... did not work too well
They raised an Army and attacked, IIRC.

Besides, homes of equal value don't really work with CA/IL, and especailly NY/NJ in the mix.

8. I'll go for it
Can I trade in my small 2 bedroom condo for a 200K house with a yard somewhere up there? I'll buy a snowblower and chains, it's cool with me.

Also will the air traffic controllers go with the USC or Jesusland? I work for them so it's an important question.
