Just a thought on the Pharmacist/Birth Control thing...

I haven't read all the threads on it so forgive me if it's been brought up before, but Birth Control is not just prescribed to prevent conception. Isn't the pharmacist being a bit presumtuous?

1. You are correct ....

for those not in the know, the Pill can also help prevent oarvian cysts. My old roommate was taking the Pill for that main reason - and her family are staunch straight off the boat Irish Catholics.

My gf in high school was on the pill because she was anemic and her normal periods caused her too much blood loss.
