Maat is back from taking the California Bar Exam.

It was pure unadulterated H*ll.

But I knew the stuff 1000X better than I did before.

I think I passed this time, but if I didn't, I'll take it again in Feb 2006.

This thing will not beat me; I will conquer it!

The husband, the kid, and the pets survived.

The house didn't - it is ... ummm ... very cluttered.

I met many there who had taken it four, five, six, seven times.

They are making it more difficult each year.

But that's O.K. I will pass it if I have to set the world's record.

Miami (and stayed at the home of a neat-freak cousin) we found our own apartment, upon our return, in the very mess we had left in the previous week, since our trip had been a "need to go now" kind of thing... my husband stayed home with our beautiful keeshond. when, upon our return, i opened the door to our apartment and the mess was staring at us right in our faces, my two year old son, said, " back to our lovely mess". the funny thing is that i felt as refreshed as he did by looking at, "our lovely mess"!

(anyhow... i hope you passed your exam!)

Took the bar in '88. First day on 45 mins of sleep, second day on 3 hours. It wasn't near as bad as I'd thought it would be. Got so drunk the night after the bar I lost my glasses. Good thing I was at home!

17. Worst test I ever took...

...was a Unix system admin certification. Took me three trys to pass, and it was split into two parts. You couldn't take part 2 until you passed part one.

Yeesh. I hate tests.

My son took the NY Bar. He did the ethics part a few months ago and nailed that. The two days this week were "difficult" in his words. First day, "not so bad", second day "difficult." This is his first time.

Wish it didn't take so long to get the results back.

Relax and watch some funny movies. Forget about cleaning for awhile. :-)
