So I lost ANOTHER job

this time I actually was fired. They were very nice about it, but I am down in the dumps and feeling unskilled. Fortunately I have good taste in beer.

1. I've been through this before.

Do not confuse your own personal wonderfulness for a particular situation not working out.

It's happened a few times to me, and it was always for the best.

I went on to much, much better work situations doing much more meaningful things.

Go take yourself out to dinner and know this is the Universe's way of moving you on to bigger and better things.

You know you're right about the dinner thing I've been craving some good sushi for about six months now and haven't had a sniff of it I think I might just do that.

7. I'm right there with you.

While I definitely had some factors working against me, it was definitely of my own making (job mistakes). Just focus on the skills you do have- and yes, even if you think you don't, you have them. :thumbsup:

regardless of what your most recent employer says? Pick yourself up and sell something about yourself that makes you feel good about who you are. (And don't buy yourself a gun, for Pete's sake, unless you have some sort of prison fetish.)
