I got a new job!!!!! And today is the last day at my current one!!!!!

I got a new job!!!!! And today is the last day at my current one!!!!!
Everything has happened so fast. I interviewed and knew by 5:00 yesterday that I had gotten the position!!! :) Yesterday, my current boss said I'd have to work through Monday (including Saturday), but she just called to tell me I'm released! EEK!!! I'm so exciting!

My new job is GREAT! It's Mon-Fri 8-5 which I LOVE (I've been working Saturdays the past three years), great benefits, and best of all?? I'm working for the SAME company (we got bought out by a huge, wonderful one and that's why my other position was eliminated) and all my senority rolls over. :) I forfeit my severance, but that's perfectly fine with me. I'm responsible for SOOOO much and it's going to be hard for the first 4 weeks or so until we learn the new company's ways, but I'm so excited. Nervous, of course, but I finally feel like things are getting back on track. Just wanted to share the good news with you all that helped me through this rough patch. :hug:

These days, getting a good job is so hard that getting a job you can acutally feel good about seem likes a fantasy.

Hopefully, I'll have similar luck when my current assignment runs out in mid-October. Congrats again!
