Turkey and chicken roasters/eaters...a question.
Do you eat the skin of your roasted bird?

Follow up question:

You do realize you're eating the skin of another animal, right?

I like mine extra crispy and salty. I'm mean not my skin, but the skin of the bird in question.

1. I do like the skin.
It's quite yummy. I like it salty too. But sometimes I remember just what I'm eating and I have to stop for awhile.

2. Used to love it
extra crispy and salty like you...but since the heart attack, skin is OFF LIMITS and the Food Nazi enforces it.

3. I don't personally eat the skin...
not that I have ethical dilemmas about it, it's either to crunchy or chewy. I have no problem eating the muscle below it however.

4. I usually avoid it for health reasons, but if it looks real good
I take a taste. If it is especially crispy, I may have a bit more.

7. Never.
I used to years ago. My husband and I raise and butcher our own chickens and let me tell you the thought of it now just gives me the willies.
:scared:

8. yep, especially the turkey. I eat the skin on fried chicken too
Not very often, since I mostly buy chicken breasts or tenders and make stuff with them. It is not healthy to eat the skin, but as it is with most things that are bad for your, it really tastes good!
