6. That is tough...you would do good to walk away from it for awhile....
It will be easier after you have some distance from it...the prose won't look quite so precious later...Just my take on it...I've tried it, and it helps me... Good luck, my dear WCGreen! :pals:

13. it's only 650 words. there's no room for allegory.
the author's got to stick with the cow metaphor only, or it's going to read like a cheap ripoff of Don Quixote. The pony's got to go, even if the careful reader sees it's really a symbol of postmodern divergence into spiritualism and oxymoronity.

Changed some tenses and got rid of a few modifiers... Lean and mean and 650 words.... Thanks for the help....... It's been a long time since I had to submit to an editor..... I still may PM you later, after I let it stew for awhile...... \
