1. You mean web site?
Google has a cool new search feature. Just type in define word and the first reply will be a bunch of definitions. That's the word 'define' followed by the word you want to look up.

m-w.com and dictionary.com are also good.

2. Maybe These?

I use bookshelf, and I have one with Encarta that is also good. I actually like the older Bookself one better, but you still have to keep it open, and then type the word into it. Bookshelf by the way, links to MS Word, and perhaps other word processors I don't use. Perhaps one of these other ones are browser add-ins, it sounds like they are. Hopefully one will be of use to you.

I think either Bush has such guilt he won't visit the dead, or he doesn't care. Perhaps it is simply political. By him acknowledging the dead, it just makes things worse for him in this unjust war.

Support our troops.

Bring them home, it is quite a bit safer here.

3. Here is what I use
Merriam-Webster Toolbar

http://www.m-w.com/tools/toolbar/

It's an IE tool bar. If you like, you can hide the tool bar then just highlight the word in question and do a right click. It will even pronounce the word for you! It also provides a thesaurus! It's free! It's excellent!

Main Entry: ex·cel·lent
Pronunciation: 'ek-s(&-)l&nt
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French, from Latin excellent-, excellens, from present participle of excellere
Date: 14th century
1 archaic : SUPERIOR
2 : very good of its kind : eminently good : FIRST-CLASS
- ex·cel·lent·ly adverb

7. Thanks!
I didn't even realize I needed that until you posted it! I just installed it on my own computer. thanks!!

Now if I just get a dictionary that will work with a right click on AIM windows, emails, and other programs.

5. Well if all you need it for is a spell-checker
I highly recommend IESpell. It's costs nothing, is adware free and resides on your IE toolbar. I absolutely swear by this little guy. It uses no resources at all and has never let me down.

You may have to add it manually after installation by right clicking the toolbar and selecting customize....then just choose it from the left side of the list and add it to the right!
