Kootchstone will only eat
(non fat) milk and angus roast beef! He won't eat turkey/chicken or any of 3 different cat foods. I can't stop the diarrhea if he keeps drinking milk but he won't drink (bottled) water and I'm afraid he will get dehydrated.....any ideas?

2. I wonder if he'd drink the "fish" water I've seen at pet stores
Has fish oil added to the water to make it attractive to kitties.

You might try forcing water down his throat with an eye dropper; at least to get some water down him.

Good luck!

3. why are you fristing yer cat???
Give the poor animal its meds already! Knowingly withholding medications that have already been dispensed for a known diagnosis of intestinal parasites is abusive. Please be responsible and give the meds.

5. call the vet's emergency services now
he may already be dehydrated, milk will only make it worse for a cat

amoebic dysentery nearly killed my husband, a strong young man in his 30s at the time, i hate to think what it could do to a small cat who has stopped drinking water

DU is not the proper place to seek emergency vet or medical services, while we're coming to a consensus of what is to be done, the patient can die

we care
