5. Garfield, even though he's not NEARLY as funny as he used to be.
Davis' first few years were hilarious, but now the Garfield strip has gone completely stale. Jon can't get dates, but when he does, he makes a fool of himself. Ha ha, oh yeah, that's just as funny now as it was the 179th time.

Seriously, they basically changed the face and the stripes, added a few more cats, and put him in a junkyard, but otherwise, it's Garfield.

11. I disagree.
Heathcliff is not a whiney, mopey, lazy-ass with an eating disorder like a certain other fat cat who shall not be named. Heathcliff is a tough guy, streetwise, wise-ass if I remember him correctly. And I think he's been around longer.

Did a quick check. Heathcliff is 19, Garfield is 25.

14. I love Garfield...
But I had a really cool fat orange cat named D'Artagnon back in 94, not too long after The three musketeers with Charlie Sheen came out. I went through a phase where I wanted to marry Chris O'Donnell, then Charlie Sheen, and I still want to make out with Oliver Platt, JUST ONCE! Anyway...so I named my cat D'Artanon. God, I'm loopy today.
