1. How ironic.
Was the entire jury hung? Or just the one who wouldn't watch the porno?

5. My mom was on a hung jury once
The judge asked the forewoman if the jury was hung. She replied "Yes your honor, well hung!"

They had to take a 15-minute recess before decorum could be restored.

7. The worst part about all this...
The main reason, (not the only one, but the major reason,) for Cincinatti's "Duhh...porn iz BAD!" attitude is from a "keep our city morally pure" group, headed by...
Charles Keating.

Yup. Same asshole who stole tons of money from people who trusted his S & L.

To Keating, looking at dirty movies is BAD! but stealing is ok.

Isaac Asimov on a bicycle.

9. was Springer country
until he was caught paying a hooker with a bad check. Go figure. I believe he was a local tv news guy who ran for mayor. Now that honor belongs to Charlie Luken I think.

Now, you'll remember this is the place where Mappelthorpe and Hustler were in big trouble.

The Morality police were led by none other than Charles Keating,

Who I can sum up thusly. Nudity, pornography=bad.

Bankrupting Senior Citizens of thier life savings=All in a days work.

That said I like cinci, we visit my wifes family twice a year.

10. sounded like they were bored...
It doesn't sound like anyone stood up and said, "Oh woe, a porn movie!" It sounds like they weren't paying attention. I don't know how anyone could tell they weren't paying attention. Maybe they got bored and went to sleep? Started to snore?

Maybe there are too many Max Hardcore movies in the world.

The genre is really getting formulaic.
