I hate being cold in august. I don't even think it's crossed 80, yet air conditioners are blasting like crazy, so I'm getting sick. :mad:

it's true, sometimes it is too cold here, especially in June. The TV ads with people swimming and on beaches and needing cold beverages are like a joke.

7. It does not get cooler at night now, only darker.
It will take until December for the earth's crust to cool to the point where it no longer radiates heat 24 hours a day. When I walked outside at 5 a.m. to go to work the other day it was 90° and humid . It is 102° here (Houston) right now.

8. kiddoes, it is 2 am and 86 degrees here in the Fort Worth
side of the Metroplex. 2 in the MORNING!! It just never cools down at night here. The official (DFW Airport weatherstation) for today was 101 but I know it was hotter in other parts of the 'plex. Scattered showers are possible for the next two days...please rain, please please rain.
