On a lighter note, anybody know how to get rid of a zit?
I think the prednisone I took for my knee swelling caused this whitehead monster on the right side of my nose.

Every time I turn my head, it looks like something is coming at me!

It looks kind of like this, now.



I am afraid a smart bomb is seeking it out.

Help!

1. You know what I finally discovered works for me?
Simple anti-bacterial lotion, such as neosporin or any knock-off. Afterall, what is a zit if not a small bacterial infection? Keep slathering it on. Put some on a band-aid at night and place over zit to really keep that stuff working. Good luck.

P.S. Oh, great. First the hurricane, now your zit. ;)

2. I used the walgreens equivalent to neosporin! Thanks!
I don't get too many of these now. This is pretty nasty.

I don't get many zits now, but when I do, they're usually what I refer to as "oil gushers." Lovely. :eyes:

12. wash your face really well...
wipe rubbing alcohol (or bactine if you have it) over your face, and then put a big gob of antibiotic ointment on a bandaid and wear the bandaid over the zit over night. If it's painful or swollen apply ice. should be much diminished in the morning.

The doc prescribed me some type of steroid to relieve the swelling in my knee, and POW! Zit.
