So I was drivin'..... (yet another gas story)

So I was driving to an appointment just 2 miles up the hill in Denver and I see gas stations creeping to 3 dollars on most places. So I get close to my appointment, and see gas for $2.69. Seeing that our tank was more than half full, and seeing that the gas prices has gone up, we took advantage of it. The wait was interesting though. I was watching a guy fill up the pump and it was like 1 cent PER second instead of like 50 cents per second. That's right, I'm saying PAINFULLY slow. The guy decides to quit after filling $2 worth of gas in *5* minutes. So I figured that they were running out of $2.69 gas and rationing that, so my wife and I discussed and decided to go mid-grade at $2.79 which was about the national average, so we went ahead and filled it up, finishing at 14 dollars for 4 gallons. Jesus F. Christ. Finally when we left, I knew there was a car waiting for us to leave because I was talking to the gentleman and told him we only had more than half a tank and we wanted to fill it up. Nice guy too. Then some stupid black teenagers cut him off and I yelled at them to back off because the guy in front of me was actually first, but the guy was too nice and let him get the first. I just didn't like the mob scene.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

That move was REALLY stupid, and I have nothing against African Americans, but this one was waaaaaay over the top.
