that was hilariolus - though I only read about it (a few months before I joined.) That story always reminds me of Keph - still missing him, tremendously. All the DUers who have joined us since Keph left us - have missed something great about DU.

introduced - was 10,000 something - then a ... DU challenge... set back posting for a day or so (every challenge leads to better response - and haven't seen anything like it since then) - and posts (and new registrants) were lost just after 11,000 registrants had been reached. Seemed like a big deal (set back - wow we hit 11,000... oh no it looks like under 11,000 is what is registered) at the time. 76,000. Wow. While I have not been here since the very beginning - I snuck in before the first year anniversary. Witnessing the growth - and the phenomenal mind power that is attracted, and that stays to converse - has been phenomenal.
