I love my mom!

I got off the phone with her a little while ago and after the customary complaining about high gas prices (I actually found a station that was selling gas for 2.79 a gallon, what a bargain!) she said she was sending me a check for a hundred dollars tomorrow. Plus a care package from her full of clothes and stuff should be at my house by Saturday. Plus she said she was going out to the store tomorrow to buy me a new comforter set. My mommy loves me!

She also mentioned how incompetent Shrub has been over this disaster by saying what a prince he's been to cut his precious vacation short by 2 whole days. Clinton would have been poised and ready to act the moment he knew that a hurricane was heading toward the coast, he certainly wouldn't have spent the day after enjoying himself in San Diego...plus think of all the National Guardsmen he would have had at his disposal not being in Iraq and all. All this coming from an essentially apolitical person...I'll say it once and I'll say it again, my mom is the best!

But I have to say, MY mom is the best. :-)

Ok, no, that's wrong... we BOTH have "best moms".

:toast: They have this great ability to make you feel better in even the crappiest situations, and my mom lives 500 miles away from me...now THAT is a superpower!
