5. I have a latin quiz at noon and a mandatory department function in the PM

Thursday is my "light flow" day which means I can do a lot of work at the office.

Here is my schedule if you're curious

MWF 9:00-9:50 Old Norse
MTWR 12:00-12:50 Latin
MW 1:00-2:50 French
T 3:00-4:50 Goethe seminar
F 1:00-2:50 1500-1750 Early modern poetry

I'd rather do German. Old Norse is a Germanic language, and due to the dilligent people of Iceland has the richest reserve of medieval literature in the world. In less isolated areas the texts didn't survive as well, but Iceland's isolation combined with long winters with very little sunlight proved ideal for an active scriptographic community.
