I've been spending a great deal of time in GD the past day or so because of all the horrible things that have been going on in New Orleans. Rapings in the Superdome, Cops joining the looters, gas prices over $6.00 a gallon in some places, dead bodies still floating in the water, chimpyboy giving the "worst speech of his life" (like he EVER gave a good one), hundreds of people stuck on a highway, no food, no water, no place to go to the bathroom, and the list just goes on and on!

It is overwhelming. We've been calling for chimpyboy's resignation or better yet his impeachment for a long time. It's even more so now.

I've been madder than hells ever since this whole thing started and I think I need a break. So...here I am. Man, do I need you folks here in lounge now!

Alas this must be goodbye, as it is time for me to leave work for the day. Perhaps we will cross paths again tonight. :-)

I know what you mean about the general doom. Obviously there's far far less of it over here, but we've still got pictures right across our front pages which looks straight out of a 2/3 World disaster.

...I've been in LBN, GDP, and GD most of yesterday and today, and finally had to come here for a break.

Those who support the Criminal-and-Chief now, would seemingly support him if he raped a dead four year old boy during a press conference. He should be ran out of town with pitchforks.

But I just don't think he will. How this country is going to survive another 3 years of this psychopath, is beyond me!

had my vacation the last two weeks. Just back to work since Monday. So how are things on your side? :pals:

A bit stressful, truthfully, but with everything going on in the world I just can't bring myself to complain much. You know how it is.

its own problems seems to be meaningless compared to what others have to suffer. And I can't really complain.

on the biggest island we have: Rügen. Is in the Baltic Sea. Just beautiful and we had great weather.
