Me?

Tears for Fears - I love that band and I still play their album all the time. What a great sound. I think they're ripe for a major comeback!

4. Let's Active. Bangles. The Stone Roses.
The Go-Betweens are already back with a new album. INXS is trying to come back and have a mediocre reality show.

Motley Crue is also working on a comeback. That might be ... interesting.

6. Black Flag.
With or without Rollins. Maybe with Dez Cadena singing.

Oh, it's already happened:

8. I'd love a Floyd reunion but I don't really think of them as an 80s band
I mean they put great stuff out in the early 80s but they were definately more of a 70s band

:D

10. Squeeze, with their original lineup.
Might be more of a 70s thing, I guess.

11. Crowded House
Even though they lived into the 90s, I consider them to be an 80s band.

12. Too bad the drummer died, though
Paul Hester killed himself a couple months ago in Australia. I would really have liked to see them get back together, too.

20. I thought I heard that they were out this summer!?!?!?
I just did a quick google and came up empty. I seriously thought I heard or read somewhere that they were doing some kind of tour this summer or something.

16. The Comsat Angels
Obscure 80s band from Sheffield, England who were contemporaries to the Human League. They're probably best remembered here for the song "I'm Falling", which appeared on the "Real Genius" movie soundtrack. Too bad that song doesn't really represent their style, though.

Due to lots of bad luck, they never really got beyond cult status, even . However, they've influenced countless other bands, including U2, The Chameleons and Catherine Wheel.

Their former guitarist/singer, Steve Fellows, now manages the britpop band Gomez, and has played on a couple of their songs.

Oh... wait. You mean bands FROM the 80's, not IN their 80's...

How 'bout some hair-metal band like DOKKEN!

Naw... that's lame.

Kajagoogoo?

How 'bout The Police (for real)

22. The Talking Heads Or The Waterboys
As a Geek wannabe, they are the kewlest! Love both of them.

Devo would be good too...but I think they could get rid of those "jar opener" hats now....
