Is there some sort of "headlights on" campaign going on?

I just went out to the local convenience store and noticed that a large majority of the cars on the road have their headlights on.

I imagine it must be some show of support thing for NOLA, just haven't heard anything about it.

General Motors cars, maybe? I think the headlights of these cars are on whenever the car is running.

3. I realize that and took it into account.

Just as a guesstimate... about 75% of the vehicles that passed by me had their headlights on: trucks, vans, older model cars, etc.
(and it wasn't a funeral procession).

This is just outside Boston, BTW.
