I just sent this to my senators - think I will be on a black list?

(I have two Rep. senators...)

I am absolutely outraged at the lack of support that the
Federal Government, led by George W Bush, in helping those
on the gulf coast, and especially New Orleans. It has been
FOUR days since the hurricane hit, and still there are no
reports of water, an evacuation plan, anything in the
area. In fact they were not dispatched until yesterday - 3
days after. Meanwhile, the President continued to have
photo ops strumming a guitar and eating cake, while
thousands die.
And today, many more are dying becuase they have not had
water since Monday. And you wonder why the people are
rioting in New Orleans. They feel that their government
has left them for dead.

I know you are probably going to respond with "this is
worse than anyone thought" and "we are moving as fast as
we can" and that is just not good enough. We (as the
government) sat on our hands for days, denying the life
sustaining materials needed because the President needed
one more photo op.

It sickens me that we are being led by so much incompetence.

Please DO SOMETHING - NOW!!

I told them to send HELP NOW to NOLA to the dome and the convention center and that there are dead bodies on TV right now and people near death in flooded homes and in the dome and on the overpass.

The R-Senators office staff were cold and unconcerned. They said the senators were not meeting tonight and that Chambliss was down in MS (doing God knows what). I told them I had not heard ANYTHING from them since the hurricane and that Bush should be impeached andthat they should be ashamed of their inaction.

D-John Barrow (Athens, GA) staff lady was so very kind and was watching the live coverage and said she would let John know I called. (I know John personally.)
