17. I broke down with Anderson Cooper
this evening. I'd avoided tv news all day...preferring to get news here and from the new orleans station web sites. But I turned on Anderson Cooper and...well...you know the rest.

I can't take it anymore. I am so ashamed of my country. I am so heartsick for those we still haven't heard from, and those nobody in charge seems to hear.

It's just too much. I cannot watch anymore.

That man was incredible tonight. His compassion was refreshing and most needed. The other reporters were ridiculous in comparison.
