Why aren't sports being delayed like on 9/11?
For some reason... no one is talking about it... and it doesn't really make sense that they should... I'm wondering what is the difference that makes this the case?

1. Because this isn't some great "patriotic" cause to rally 'round.
This is a dog-eat-dog scenario that the dogs brought on themselves.

2. Tallahassee motels are telling refugees to leave before the big game
Florida State and Miami are playing soon and the rooms have been booked so some motels/hotels are telling refugees that they will have to leave.

Sleep well.

6. events were cancelled after 9/11
including sports, because people were concerned about security. It's unlikely that a hurricane will hit Yankee Stadium tonight.

I see no problem with people trying to be as normal as possible. Honestly, besides giving cash, there is nothing people outside the area can really do.
