If anybody needs to calm themselves
I can heartily recommend the late-night Prom which has just begun.

The music is:

Wylkynson
Jesus autem transiens / Credo in Deum a 13 (6 mins)
Cornysh
Salve Regina (14 mins)
Tallis
Nine Tunes for Archbishop Parker's Psalter (10 mins)
O nata lux de lumine (2 mins)
Gaude gloriosa Dei mater (17 mins)
Spem in alium (10 mins)

It's all English renaissance music sung by The 16 - who are one of the best early music choirs around. The final piece (Spem in Alium) is one of the greatest works of the musical art ever - it is for 40 parts, and is beyond imagination.

It can be listened to via the web at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio3 and then clicking "Radio Player" on the top right.
