I guess I need a favorite D-IA football team to be in the "cool group"....
So help me decide which one I should cheer for. Justify your choice please....I'm very picky.

1. Ohio State, they play Texas next week
They were the first college football team to have an all black backfield too(Green, Johnson and Griffin).

3. I think I need a team less in the mainstream.... an underdog perhaps.
Nobody in the top 15. Maybe barely in top 25. I lived in Oregon. How are the Ducks?

Or Tennessee.

Avoid Notre Dame, any Florida team, or the wretched Ohio State. Avoid Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Iowa, or any northeast team too, for that matter.

7. LSU: America's Team!
They're using their campus as a primary evacuation center. Unlike the Bush**co Chickenhawks :-) LSU is actually doing something for its community.

9. Maybe Tulane.
They will be playing their "home" games in DALLAS this season. With all they are going through, I think they would appreciate the support.
