My first post from my dorm room!

Moved in today. None of my friends have moved in yet or returned my calls. God, I'm bored. Also tired. I should go to sleep, but I don't wanna!

1. Just go knock on your neighbor's door.

They'll come out and you can hang together. If that doesn't work, just go sit in the common room and wait for someone to join you.

Making friends in the dorm is easy. However, it's easy to make enemies too, so don't talk trash about people and think they won't find out.

2. Neighbors aren't here yet.

Today was the first day to move in. After a three-day cross-country drive, I was quite ready to move in, but there's only so much you can do in eighteen floors of nearly complete emptiness. More people should show up tomorrow.

3. I disliked living in a dorm

For one thing I was about 10 years older than everybody. For another I had a hard time dealing with the noise. It seemed like there was always something loud happening at least until 4 AM. There were a lot of people there who weren't taking college seriously. I knew of at least one guy who flunked every course his first quarter there.

4. I'm back in my fall dorm too

after staying here for the summer. Moved in on Wednesday..today my friends are finally back..wooooo!! :woohoo: For me, having fall start again was a countdown that started in May. I'm so glad to be back. :)
