I've been away for DU for over a month...

Now does not look like a good time for me to reappear, frankly. GD is going fucking ballistic. I was there for 30 seconds, and I knew right away. Now I've seen plenty of Katrina coverage, and while I have personally donated money to the victims, I don't want to have talk about it jammed down my throat. Am I to assume that the Lounge is safe from that??

Otherwise I'll go back in hiding.

I've been mostly hanging around my college football team's message board for the past month or so. Ever since the hurricane hit, I kept away from DU like the plague. Now I'm still not even sure if it's safe here.
