i worked for the american forces radio and television service as a disc jockey/newscaster/television tech and personality...i think i was stoned in this picture...notice i was not wearing a t-shirt and i had some rubber bands on my wrist...i also had on an earring...but you can't see it in this picture...

I've always wondered about that. I have a few distant cousins in the Merchant Marines. I don't have the chance to speak with them very often, but I always wondered why they seem so much happier than relatives in the government's Navy. :)
