1. See that delta just east of Tampa Bay formed by the three paths?

That's me (Lakeland). We got three of them in six weeks time. But I didn't suffer anything close to what they are still suffering in the Gulf Coast from Katrina.

2. No kidding!
Charley came right about over my house. And we got the windy sides of Jeanne and Frances in Orlando. Charley messed us up pretty bad, but nothing like the Gulf was hit. I imagine the folks in Punta Gorda are still hurting, though, from Charley.

3. Took a direct hit from Frances and Jeanne
I live in Fort Pierce, where they both made landfall. Two hurricanes within 3 weeks was a real eye-opener. But nothing like what is going on with Katrina. Frances was a cat 2 when it finally hit, and Jeanne a cat 3. It was the fact that they were so close together, and buildings were already compromised from Frances when Jeanne hit, that made it so bad. I still have friends who have not been able to get their houses repaired yet, and others who lost everything. I really feel for the people of the Gulf Coast. :(

4. I am glad you pulled through allright.
Frances dumped a whole lot of rain, and seemed to take forever to pass. Jeanne was slow and windy. Charley was the worse to hit us. It is just amazing how many storms hit Florida last year.

After a while, you just get hurricane fatigue. Waiting in line for everything, people become impatient, especially at gas stations. People would not stop at intersections, and just drive like idiots.
I imagine the people in the Gulf are going through a lot of that now.

5. Yes, this one was a bad one...
We didn't get NEAR, here in Tallahassee, what you folks did in south Florida. I'm glad you're OK though!

6. I am in Orlando
So, I didn't get it too bad. We just got weary here because we had Charley, and then Frances and Jeanne. I think by the time Frances got to us it might have been a tropical storm or a low cat 1, but everything fades together...lol.

:hi: up there in Tallahassee!
