27. When you love your pet enough ... you even love them wet.

Byron is waiting for me across the Rainbow Bridge along with several of my friends. He was HUGE in body and spirit. I was truly blessed to have known him. Whenever I ask he would gladly step into the bathtub after he outgrew his baths in the kitchen sink. I celebrate his life rather than to mourn his passing, I have no doubt - he will know me in heaven.

What is that cat doing to your face?

I wish I had someone to take pictures of my dog Riley during sleep time. He is very insistent about getting the best pillow, even if I am laying on it.... He will nudge and crowd me until I move.

22. she just fell asleep petting me

she kept stroking my cheek, and her paw landed there when she finally crashed. I don't think she realizes she is a cat, I raised her from 3 days old and she acts like a real baby. In the mornings, she meets me coming down the hall and stands on her back legs while reaching up with her front paws so I'll pick her up. She's my baby for sure!!

She's soft like an aussie shep, and has the aussie shep ears, but she has the muscles and strength of the heeler. And she's a RUTHLESS herder.
She rocks. I love her. :)

My parents have a heeler. He's a Detroit street dog - we got him from the pound. I'll post a pic of him later. He's a real cut-up. He also has very strong herding tendencies.
