Do you have them on a regular basis?

If so, you might want to consider having a generator...

My husband insisted on having one for our new house, and so we did...

It does give considerable peace of mind, even though we've only had minor outages so far...

Our runs on natural gas...

6. Not too often
Our electric grid is underground, so is less affected by the weather, etc.

And since you don't have earthquakes, then there's something else you don't need to concern yourself with either....
