I Apologize for my post yesterday

anger and frustration have overcome reason. It is hard to see all this suffering while enjoying a good life, its so unjust. I feel helpless and so out of reach where hands are needed.

You are a good sort here. Could never leave. I shouldn't post when emotions are too high. I'm sincerly sorry for the tantrum wronging so many of you. I have been out of step and am ashamed of myself.

:hi: No hard feelings. I have days where I want to kick and scream and I feel like we should be doing more. On the up side, this Pres is doing a pretty good job of sinking himself these days...no matter how much the goofy, numbnut freeps would like to think differently. :hi:

This is a hellish time for everyone. I've been upset to the point of tears...both the anguish and just rage. I can understand your post. No problem at all.

I have been thinking about you a lot since I read your thread yesterday. I really do understand where you're coming from. We're all posting these rants and persuasive arguments...to each other. What good does this do?

But then...last night I was stuck at dinner with my ultra-conservative father-in-law, listening to him spout off Rush Limbaugh talking points about the gulf coast disaster. I found that I was able to refute each claim he made. Made me realize how well-informed I am just from hanging out here.

If we all take the info and the passion we share on DU and spread it out to the rest of the country...maybe we are making a difference.
