Why do people absolutely SUCK?

Why do people want to shit on your hope, especially those who CLAIM to be on the same side as you are?

My Lounge postings have almost all been self-pity threads, so please forgive me. Some asshole attacks me in GD and I come here for comfort.

But seriously, I need hope. I've been trying to dole it out all fucking day, trying to encourage people, not to give up, to keep fighting, and some asshole tells me to stick a sock in it cause he's been voting since the 60s and hasn't gotten what he wanted.

I wouldn't be asking if I didn't need it right now. Hope yall are really cool folks, cause I'm not joking. Fucking assholes, some people are.

Forget the GD Debbie/Dennis Downers; they rarely have anything other than bile to dish out most times.

Pragmatic is fine; wallowing in negativity and doom is just a black hole of morass. Let them wail to their heart's content, then forget them.

I'm having a crappy time right now but I'm sure not going to be mean to other people--unless they are mean to me first (and even then I may just choose to ignore them rather than fight with them).

I'm a sensitive person and it sounds like you are as well. When somebody flames you do not respond to them. Simply alert on the poster if it looks like he/she has attacked you. Don't get wrapped up in that shit.

There is a lot of negativity on here and it gets me down sometimes. I've pretty much limited myself to just a few forums that I know I will probably not absorb too many bad vibes off of. It has made my DU experience so much more pleasant.

I don't pick up any of the vibes that others do when I go to GD. Maybe I just fit in. Or maybe they want me to think I fit in.

If you are being attacked by some anal sphincter, remember that it is a one way orifice and to stand clear of any emittance.

Perhaps you could post what it was that the offender said and maybe some of us could give you some zingers that you approve of to rebut with.
