My dogs playing with rats! Yuck!

After Katrina's fury last week, my dogs were playing with a rat that the storm killed and drug on in to my yard. It was quite disgusting. One of my dogs came in and tattled on the other two. She knew they were up to no good (atta girl). They were tossing it around like it was one of their toys. Ewww! I had to go get it from them and dispose of it. Double ewww!! No telling how many rodents and such got killed by the storm. :(
My friend found a baby squirrel that either fell from the nest or didn't get moved by the mom. There was nothing we could do to save it. We took it to our vet friend, but she said w/o power and w/o being able to get any supplies to feed it, it wouldn't do any good. :cry:
