You know those cassette tapes that allow you to hook up a CD...
and use your portable CD player in the tape deck... Can you do the same thing with an MP3 player?

1. Yes, you sure can
plug it in to the headphone jack and away you go. That's how my iPod is hooked up in my car.

3. Doesn't it just fit in the earphone jack?
If it does, I would imagine it would work. I think there are also little tuner devices that you can hook up to the MP3 or CD player where you can just tune to a radio station and it comes in that way.

4. I've had limited luck with the radio ones...
If your car has a cassette deck, get one of those cassette adapters, plug in your MP3 player and rock on down the highway! Another disadvantage of the radio ones is that they generally require batteries, whereas the cassette adapters don't. If you get stuck, stop by Radio Shack and they should be able to show you how it works and provide an adapter if you need one.

5. Yes it works
I use one all the time with an Ipod mini. Just remember to turn it back to the radio when you unplug because I assume it wears the head on your tape deck.
