I came to the DU because of strong concerns I have over the use of a WMD by our military. My name "chknltl" stems from how I treat this topic in real life. I speak to strangers often about this topic. My hopes are that I can prevent young folks from joining the Army, which in my opinion can be life altering in a medically bad way. I ghosted into the lounge just before the storm and I have been here since. You guys are kinda addicting, (in a nice way). I care about folks, if I make someone giggle on occasion well... that works for me too. Thats me and my story, I am sticken to it, :hippie: thank you for the welcome progmom......

... now I understand why we in Seattle have no streets named after football coaches. People here just do not "get it" the way you folks do. That piece of art would not have anywhere near the same impact with Seahawk helms and our QB holding a Latte! Coach Holmgren can only do so much.... we love him just the same.
