Hey, residents of the "Valley Of The Sun", where was the sun today?
what a rainy day we have had, and it's suppose to rain thru tonight!

Our desert sure needed this rain, and I just loved all of the smells of rain in the desert!

How about the rest of you??

1. I lived in Phoenix for 2 years when I went back toschool
I was never so glad to get out of the desert in my life! I hated every minute of it.

2. Absolutely LOVED the rain today.
Got the windows open.. airing out the house a bit (fresh desert rain smells soooooo good!)

3. Are you smelling rain on desert?
Or just pavement and rooftops? Oh well, At least it cools the asphalt. Harrad, former Phoenecian 1971-1981. It's the lightning I miss!

4. It was awesome, wasn't it?
The kids at school were all excited about it -- it's such a rarity here. I needed to make several trips to the office and each time the rain had started up again. I don't own an umbrella so I was plenty soaked. Gotta tell you though, I loved it.
