Usually I like it when it starts to get dark early, but it's bothering me this year for some reason.

1. YAYYY!!! Come, dark, come!!
Enough of summer and allergies and bugs and burning, scorching sun bullshit and long-ass fucking days before the cool embrace of the moon's calming bosom.

Fuck the day! Fuck summer! Fuck the sun!

Come, O haunting autumn, and fill us with your grace again.
Come, O loving winter, and hold us in your darkened womb again.

Seriously, I enjoy the cooler weather of fall, and the leaves are pretty too, but the progressive retreat of sunlit hours is, and should be, a little depressing. It's not bad now, but it is a warning that the dark days of December, January, February are fast approaching.

Let me boldly state my well-considered and, I believe, infallible opinion that people who prefer it when the sun sets at 4:30pm rather than at 9:00pm are certifiably insane! Get some HELP folks, seriously!

7. Puke. I HATE winter.
If I wanted to live in Alaska, I would. I certainly don't need Alaska-lite.

Yuck yuck yuck. I hate the dark, I hate the cold....

:puke:

Just sayin'.

8. Usually, I'd be all sad that summer's leaving
But now that I don't have air conditioning, I'll welcome cooler temperatures.
