2. Pretty amazing
But why would one want to train a dog to do that?

3. I don't know. However, some dogs seem to really enjoy this type...
of thing. When I was in Ireland, I went to a farm where they had border collies. These dogs LOVED working. I think that there are certain types of dogs that enjoy continuous learning, even if it is just dancing to music with their "person".

I've always enjoyed watching dog shows. Almost all of the dogs looked to me as though they really enjoyed doing this and they seemed to love the attention. I'm sure that there are also dogs that would not like this at all.

6. Many dogs love working and learning.......
I had an on-line acquaintance that had sled dogs. She made it clear that her dogs simply LOVED to pull that sled. They were obedient at all times but when harnessed to the sled they just couldn't wait to get going.

My Boston was always up for a new thing. I taught him to salute (to lift his right front paw up to his eye and hold it, in a smart, military fashion) and after he learned it and, i suppose, realized how much it pleased me, he would do it on his own at times just for the reaction.

That lady in that film has spent hours with that dog on that routine, no doubt and their devotion to each other shows through plainly.
