2. HEHEHEHEHE
He is going to win, no doubt about it (even though his elections are close and he is going up against a mulit-millionaire)

3. Two millionaires and a fundie nut
Edited on Thu Nov-13-03 10:54 AM by sybylla
But he'll do fine. The poorest member of the senate who has refused every pay raise since he took office 11 years ago has nothing to fear from millioinaires and their vanity campaigns. The fundie nut is humorless and Russ will squash him like a bug.

4. I found this reassuring as well
http://www.russfeingold.org/news/national_taxpayers_union.php

Feingold won the top spot rank for reining in excessive spending. I thought the Republicans were the ones that were supposed to be fiscally responsible???

5. Whatever gave you that idea?
Was it something they said? Remember, you can always tell when a republican is lying, their lips are moving...

6. That's been a solid myth since at least Raygun.
Repukes haven't been fiscally responsible for several decades. Someone around here had a chart showing that repuke presidents had been the cause of more deficit spending last century and dems had been the cause of more surpluses.

8. Please, Lynn, you're a broken record
First, no elected representative is perfect and will vote exactly everytime the way we want or expect

Second, Senator Feingold has defended his vote by reaffirming his belief that presidents have a right to their own cabinet and to appoint whom they desire as they have to work with them. The only reason to not affirm the president's cabinet is for criminal or evidence of other unethical activity by the nominee. This is the courtesy that has been paid, he says, to every modern president before chimpy and should be the standard today. The bonus in this situation is that the president becomes solely responsible for his cabinet and their actions and congress can get on with the business of the people.

But if you think electing a fundie nut or a millionaire businessman is better, I can get you the addresses for their campaign websites.
