Okay, I feel really embarrassed and stupid

My right contact has been bugging me all day, so I finally decided to go fix it.

I just went into the bathroom and tried to take it out. Repeatedly.

Then I took a good look at my eyeball. And realized I don't have a contact in that eye. Left eye? Yes. Right eye? No contact.
No wonder I thought it was all dirty and blurry.
Good thing I didn't succeed in "taking it out".

I worked with a gal who lost her contact, got a replacement and MONTHS later, at work, we were talking. She started blinking and said "just a minute" She took out her contact, and a cloudy thing popped up over her eye. It was her 'lost' contact. Her body had coated it and it was hanging out in the back.

4. ewww!!! No, I'm sure, because I found the missing one

after I realized it wasn't in my eye!

It was sitting in the sink, all dried out. Had to throw it away and get a new one!

How did I not notice that?
