Pics of my new kitty
I promised I'd post pics of the new cat as soon as I could find my camera...so here she is. I've pretty much settled on a name...Mabel.

This is Mabel on the couch watching football...which she apparently really really likes:


And here she is under better lighting...shows her colors a bit better:

I get them confused. Sorry.

Of course, I have no idea what evil Mabel is getting up to while I'm at work...could be she just acts good while I'm around. :shrug:

16. Well, so far...
she's a good combination of affectionate and self-sufficient. She doesn't require constant attention...but she does like to cuddle sometimes. And she really likes to lay on the couch with me to watch tv...even if she doesn't always approve of my choices. She did like "The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pitman" on Thursday night. She didn't like X-Men 2 this morning. :shrug:

18. I dunno if I'm in love yet...
that takes a while with me. But I sure do like her a lot so far. She's a good kitty. I figure that pitiful whine that grabbed my attention was a message that it was time to get a kitty...this kitty. :)

unless they do something cute like bring me a dead mouse. Then I fall in love instantly.

It won't be long before you wake up one morning and realize you're owned by a cat. That's their trick. Get in the house, act grateful for a few days, then take over. I couldn't live without them. Congratulations on adopting Mabel!
