2. I'll nerd out about it:
Outstanding Comedy:
Arrested Development deserves to win but Desperate Housewives will get it.

Outstanding Drama:
Will go to Six Feet Under since it's over now.

Individual Performance:
Had better go to Jon Stewart but they like to award themselves so don't be surprised if it is Hugh Jackman.

Lead Actor Comedy:
Again, Jason Bateman gets my vote but I'd be happy to see Zach Braff or Tony Shaloub get it.

Lead Actress Comedy:
As always, I pull for Jane, but it will go to a desperate housewife.

Lead Acress Drama:
Frances Conroy and anybody else winning is a travesty of justice.

Mini-series:
Haven't seen any of them but I bet HBO gets it for something.

Reality:
What's the point. The writers guild should strike over the existence of this category.

Supporting Actor Comedy:
Jeremy Piven, but Jeffery Tambour deserves it too.

Supporting Actress:
Jessica Walter, hands down.

Drama/miniseries:
Haven't seen them but again, HBO. I'm pulling for the Life and Death of Peter Sellers folks, because that's the only one I've seen.

Outstanding Variety:
That's the toughest one. They're all good, but Conan hasn't been too hot lately. Letterman's always classic and sharp but I don't know that the show is good enough as a whole to earn it. Ali G is fantastic but probably too weird to win. Seeing Bill Maher get it would be a treat but I doubt they have the guts to give it to him. I'd be surprised but happy to see it. Which leaves The Daily Show, which deserves to win and probably will. Who doesn't love it?

Thanks for the nerd-out opportunity.

4. I went through that entire list and I can honestly say the only one

6. My Prediction ....
Irrelevant and part of vile and shallow capitalist culture.

wouldn't waste a nanosecond on it.

Mozarts toe nail is worth a hundred billion actor of the type that will show up today. Not to mention Goethe , Tolstoy, Hegel ...etc.
