From Purdue. 4th rounder. A bonus: he's NOT a Bush fan.

During the game they showed a series of questions they asked of him, including "favorite place to vacation" and he said: "Iowa."
He'll be a good one. lots of poise. Great arm.

5. Of all the busts the Bears have had at qb
it would be nice for them to get a good one. I mean good god where's Cade McNown these days? Sacking dog chow I think.
I like nothing better than for the Bears to have a very good year.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Their defense is pretty good. They're in a really weak division. If they make the playoffs, I'd be the happiest guy in Chicago.

8. Ummmmm...they beat the 49ers
Now's not the time for Eagle fans to start fellating each other. They did get spanked by Michael Vick last weel, after all.

9. Uhhh...since when is losing by 4 POINTS "getting spanked"?
Edited on Mon Sep-19-05 12:26 AM by friesianrider
Puh-lease. We would have won against Atlanta if we did not have an injured quarterback and an absent star linebacker. And STILL with both those huge problems, if we had had one more touchdown we would have won. Atlanta just got fucking lucky that Akers was off (the only REAL thing that can be considered a team fault) not once but twice. If Akers had gotten his FGs, we would have won by 2...and that would have been a win against a top-ranked team minus our star linebacker and with an injured and hurting QB.

I personally think we did superbly given the circumstances and think our performance Monday night showed what a great team we really were. We were playing a great team with some major problems and still did extremely well. I would expect with the major problems we had, a good team like Atlanta should have mopped the floor with us. But they didn't - not even close. We lost by 4 points - that's hardly "getting spanked." Sorry.

I am stoked...it's going to be a great season for us.

11. S P A N K E D
The Eagles looked horrible against Atlanta. Very ordinary. IF your QB wasn't hurt...IF your star LB didn't act like a knucklehead and get himself kicked out of the game DURING WARMUPS...and (my personal favorite) IF WE HAD ONE MORE TD WE WOULD HAVE WON!!!
That one really makes me smile.

After all, I'm pulling your leg. The Eagles are a playoff team. Whether they will win big in the playoffs is still up in the air. Owens needs to grow up. I love McNabb (after all, he is a South-sider like me). Good luck.

10. well, not as bad as the Moss-less ones
I am sure they will get geared up when the Milquetoasts of the Midway come to Lambert field. Expect a lump of coal in your stocking, you've been a very bad team.
