8. It's saved me

Although I'm a pretty mellow guy now, I look like a guy you'd cross the street to avoid 99 percent of the time at night; it's saved me many times from getting robbed of my stuff. I used to be bothered by it when I was younger; now I use it to my advantadge. Maybe they look at you the same way and didn't want to chance it.

The person or people who stole the bikes decided to leave one so all your neighbors would think if his bike is ok then he must be behind this or know who is.
