Why is this so hard?
My mom and I often chatted online with Yahoo or AOL. We also played cards against each other online. She's on all my buddy lists.

Since she died in June, I just can't bring myself to delete her name from my lists.

Things like this break my heart 1000 different ways everyday.

1. I still have Khephra's phone number programed into my cell phone
It's just a small way to remember those you love.

BTW, if you need someone to play online cards - look me up. I"m a major Pinochle and Canasta fan!

2. Sorry for your loss.
But, I worry that by not removing the little things like that you are making things so much harder on yourself. I wish I could say that better but I'm so sleepy.

3. I'm so sorry!
It's got to be very difficult to erase anything that reminds you of someone you love. I imagine being able to see her name is a tangible reminder of her-- sometimes just trying to remember a person in your mind is like grasping at air. I can understand why you wouldn't want to remove something that signifies her.

I am so sorry. You expressed your grief so beautifully. There's nothing I can think of to say except...I'm sorry.

your loss, I don't have a mom either. Things will fall into place when you're ready, and your intuition will tell you when the time is right. Don't push it, don't fret. Sending hugs and warm wishes to you.

6. It is hard, and you aren't alone
I still have Andy Stephenson on my IM buddy list and I still have his home and cell numbers programmed into my phone. Every time I go to call someone on the cell...his name is the first one I see on my speed dial list. But I still can't just get rid of the numbers.

It's ok to feel the way to do.

7. Because she is a part of you
It would be easier to cut a finger away than a memory of a loved one.

Don't cut your finger away or the memories and reminders of your mother.

8. Why do you have to delete it?
Isn't she still on your buddy list?
