Lost Fans: I have a quandary
So, I just watched the first 5 or 6 episodes of this show last night. I had heard good things about it but had never found the time to sit down and watch it. (Plus, I wanted to start at the beginning as I had heard what sort of show it was.)

Now, I'm pretty much hooked. Which was why I was up until 2 in the morning watching last night.

So, my question: there's no way I can watch all of the first season before the second season starts on Wednesday (I'll probably be about halfway done by then).

Should I watch the season premiere without having seen all of season 1? Or should I wait till I'm caught up?

1. Well, I would watch the rest of the first
season b/c the premiere is supposed to start where it left off. You may be a little "lost" so to speak.

5. That's kind of what I was thinking
I'm worried something important will get spoiled or that I won't know exactly what's going on.

7. Well the finale was kind of a cliffhanger so if you start
the watching this season before you finish last season, you may be confused and I think it will take away from the show for you.

2. Watch season 2
and catch up with season 1 in the meantime. Season 1 is now out on DVD. You should definitely watch all the episodes in sequence and you'll be up to speed in no time.

Some things in season 2 may not make sense yet, but I'm sure you'll figure it out once you finish watching season 1. Like I mentioned, it's important to watch season 1 in sequence (you'll understand).

8. I would just tape the season premiere
But unfortunately my VCR is on the fritz.

Which makes the decision a little harder.

I'm definitely planning on watching the first season in order. I love the way they sort of tease out all the backstories.

3. I would wait until you are caught up.
If you are only 6 episodes in, there is a lot to happen before the premiere. I think you might be 'lost' yourself.

12. After reading the responses, I think that's probably my best course
I'm pretty sure something will be spoiled for me.

6. I read the synposes on the internet
and watched a handful of shows. I have a good feel on what is going on to be able to watch the premiere.
You might try that.

10. I'm enjoying it so much though
That I don't know that I want to read about what happens.

13. FWIW, the synopses were very well done, IMO.
I could even picture it in my mind from the descriptions. And since you have seen the characters, it might work for you too.

Obviously, I don't think you should miss the season opener.
