1. I think they wanted to give the division a head start
to make the rest of the season interesting.

But no one took the bait.

10. Oh underpants you are
so right. For years that team has depended on Favre. I soooo was hoping that he'd retire this year, but alas, not. The team is young though, but I truly hold no hope this year. Oh btw, I'm still a Packers fan, and NO, I do not wear a cheeshead!!!!!

7. They depend far too much on Favre
A fantastic QB and football player no doubt but everything rides on his performance. They will be a club level team when he retires.

8. Green Bay is garbage.
When was the last time you saw BOTH minnesota and green bay at the bottom of the division and thinking that either Detroit or Chicago will win the division?

I predict that the Bears WILL win that division, but with a record of 8-8 or 7-9. If that's even possible. The whole division just sucks.

Right now, however, the Vikings are the worst.

15. the packers forgot the formula:
Edited on Mon Sep-19-05 02:27 PM by Blue_Tires
when your used-to-do-it-all-himself future HOF QB gets towards the end of the road, he needs MORE weapons around him, not less---a solid OL, quality WRs and a punishing ground game

see: John Elway's last two years

the packers seemed to let a lot of people go, falling into that 'as long as we have farve, everything's ok!' trap
