So long and thanks for all the fish.
I just finished watching "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" again.

“Dolphins - "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" ”
Definition: Man has always assumed that he is more intelligent than dolphins because he has achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on whilst all the dolphins have ever done is muck about in the water, having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons. Dolphins have long known of the impending destruction of the Planet Earth and have made many attempts to alert mankind of the danger; but most of their communications are misinterpreted. For instance, the last-ever dolphin message was misinterpreted as a surprisingly sophisticated attempt to do a double-backwards somersault through a hoop whilst whistling “The Star Spangled Banner,” but in fact the message was this: So long and thanks for all the fish.

5. I guess my question to both of us is What is Your Impression as parents
of that movie? I just hear that your "kids" loved it and you bought the DVD/CD..but what did it say to you?

Have you discussed it with your kids..or do you think it's just a cute movie and a way to indulge your kids with their "Faves?"

having some questions. The primary one is (duh) Creation? The movie isn't Barney...everything is a discussion with my boys. They don't stop asking questions. Most fantasy Movies & Books bring about questions of reality.
Most parents indulge their children I'm no exception.

My ten year old is also a Monty Python fan. I've only let him watch the Holy Grail so far. I plan to screen the Television Box set for his viewing.

7. I hope they do a sequel!
Seeing "The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe" in a big-budget film would be great. Especially, you know, the Restaurant, Milliways.
